Vanessa Lorenzo Toquero obtained a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Mondragon in 2009, a Post-Grad in Product Design from ELISAVA Barcelona in 2010 and a master’s in Media Design from Geneva University of Art & Design (HEAD) in 2016. Vanessa Lorenzo Toquero describes herself as a hybrid between designer, artist and researcher. She is interested in humankind’s impact on the climate and environment. The artist creates interactive sculptures to give a voice to the natural world by highlighting its agency. She often combines elements of nature with technology to create ‘new media ecologies’, connecting between humans and their environment.
