Lisa Lurati

Lisa Lurati studied at the Centre d’enseignement professionnel de Vevey (CEPV) between 2011 and 2015 and is currently completing a master’s at the Institut Kunst (FHNW) in Basel. In her work, Lisa Lurati uses photography as raw material, exploring early techniques including the cyanotype, from which the earliest recorded photographic book was made in 1843. She uses this early technique of botanic photogram impressions for large scale canvases she describes as fictional documentation of nature, combining found and invented elements.
