Patrick von Deschwanden
Head of Trade and Sustainable Commodity Finance – Switzerland
Patrick started his career in 1989 at André & Cie S.A. Lausanne as assistant trader before joining André’s financial division in 1991, where he covered various structured and project financing activities with clients based in Russia, Eastern Europe and Asia. In 2000, Patrick started his banking career, working for Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas and Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV). At BCV, Patrick was team head of the Soft Commodities & Bioenergy Energy desk for Latin America. He joined Societe Generale in 2010 as Senior TSC Relationship Manager in Geneva and contributed to the creation and development of the local TSC platform. In 2013, he joined the Agri team of NAT/TSC/Amer before returning to Geneva in 2017 as Senior Relationship Manager. Patrick was promoted Deputy Head of TSC Switzerland in October 2018.
