Lives and works in Geneva
Nelly Haliti obtained her master’s degree from the Geneva University of Art & Design (HEAD) in 2012 and has since participated in residencies at the Swiss Institute in Rome and the Fondation Suisse, Pavillon Le Corbusier in Paris. From the beginning, her practice has encompassed a wide range of medium and subject matter. Painting forms the conceptual and formal basis of her work, but she also works with 16mm video, installation, performance and photography. Her work evades a uniform visual identity, preferring what she describes as a “language in movement”.
